Since 2004, The Wedding Design Team at Stems has guided over 3,000 brides and grooms through the wonderful world of flowers and color blending to interpret all of their wedding design themes and visions. They are very comfortable discussing what flowers are seasonally available to address budget and help to develop a floral plan to achieve an elegant, breathtaking, memorable wedding day that is Uniquely Yours!

Jenny Thomasson AIFD PFCI EMC CFD, Co-Founder, Kim Brannan AAF and Joe Thomasson CFD AIFD started Stems Florist 18 years ago. This Award Winning wedding florist and has been a leader of leading edge wedding design in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. Jenny, now a world travelling florist, has studied with some of the most trend setting floral designers in the industry today, studied & designed all over the world and loves to get new ideas, new techniques, new products and create floral arrangements and floral art that stand above and beyond the norm. This drive to always be ahead of the wedding design curve has produced the wedding designs enjoyed by our brides and grooms.

Joe Thomasson CFD AIFD, Design Director, spent much of his career in retail and retail management. Joe is an outstanding florist, project and logistic manager and is responsible for all of Stems operations. His interests include spinning & the gym, anything book related (you should see the library!), outdoor activities and being a Dad.

Kim Brannan AAF, Co-Founder, Wedding & Marketing Director, retired from commercial interior design after over 29 years and has worked on the development of Stems with Jenny & Joe for the past 18 years. Her interests include anything wedding… she is a little obsessed, anything crafty, marketing, gardening, and of course, her grandchildren.

We are dedicated to delivering the very best in wedding floral design and all the wedding day details. Stems’ customer care and wedding day service has been recognized by the readers of The Knot magazine and theknot.com as one of “The Best of Weddings.” In 2007, Stems received the only 100% rating of all the florists in the St. Louis area and was recognized as one of the Top 5 wedding florists in the Midwest.
